The Jutland Art Academy’s greatest asset is its staff and the students. The admission of new students is therefore of great importance to the academy. The admission procedure is a 2-part procedure. The admission board first evaluate your submitted artistic works. If the admission board finds you qualified, you will be called for an interview.
Each year the academy receives about 150 applicants of whom about 20 are invited for a personal interview with the admission board. From these applicants, 8-10 of are chosen to begin the study programme.
3rd-year admission (advanced programme)
In specific cases we can accept you as a 3rd-year student as starting our advanced programme. In such cases the admissions board has decided that the applicants qualifications allow transfer of credits/merit. As an example can be mentioned previous education within aesthetic areas and courses from another art academy.
